Using the Lookup Menu to Search for Companies or Groups in ACT!
You can perform lookups on companies or groups the same way you would on contact records. The company and group lookup commands are available from the Companies and Groups submenus of the Act! Lookup menu:
- From the Lookup menu, select Companies or Groups, and then select a command from the submenu. For example, to search for all companies in California, select State from the Companies submenu.
The Lookup Companies or Lookup Groups dialog opens.
- Under Search for, enter the search term you’re looking for, or select it from the drop-down menu (for example, CA).
- Click OK.
The Company List or Group List is filtered to display only the matching records.
