How to Customize the Start Menu to Use Small Icons

1. Right-click on the Start menu icon and select Properties.
   
2. Click on Customize.
   
3. Scroll down to the bottom and uncheck Use large icons.
4. Click OK.
5. Click OK again.
   
6. The Start menu now uses small icons.
