Installing Quicken
To install the Quicken application:
- Click the Quicken 2009.exe zip file.
- Click the Run button in the Open File – Security Warning dialog box.
- Click Yes in the confirmation message box.
- In the WinZip Self-Extractor dialog box, click Unzip.
- In the Quicken 2009 – Install Wizard dialog box, click Next.
6. Click Ok in the Quicken 2009 Installation dialog box.
7. In the License Agreement screen, select the I agree option and click Next.
8. In the Destination Folder screen, click the Change button to select the folder location. In the Version area, select the Australian or New Zealand version. Click Next.
9. In the Ready to Install the Program screen, click Install.
10. In the Installation Complete screen, click Done.
11. In the Activate Quicken dialog box, enter your Quicken Installation Key.
12. In the Quicken message box, click OK.
13. In the Welcome to Quicken screen, select one of the options and click Next.
14. To choose a different file name, select the option I want to choose a
different file name and location.
Note: You can, however, choose the default file name QDATA stored within your My Documents\Quicken folder. You can also open the sample Quicken data file.
15. Click Next. The Create Quicken File dialog box is displayed where you can save your data file. In the File name field, enter the name of the file and click OK.
